Wild Goose Island is my favorite place to see in Glacier National Park. Wild Goose Island may just be one overlook, but it was what made me want to go here. You see the movie The Shining was on AMC, and I really like Halloween, so I watched it and I saw the mountains. Then I looked up the filming and saw Glacier National Park and I really wanted to go so I convinced everyone to go. Now that you know the story of my journey, I should probably tell you how to get there.
On Going to the Sun Road past rising sun, you will follow it up to where you see a small brown sign that has a photo icon and says Wild Goose Island. Now you pull over and walk down and see the island. If you are going to Glacier, I hope you can use this to see my favorite place in the park.
