When you are in the West Side of Glacier National Park you should do Trail of the Cedars and if you have time Avalanche Lake. Trail of the Cedars is a boardwalk trail that takes you through a beautiful cedar forest. At the end you have a very scenic glacier blue waterfall, and another tourist told us to look for circles in the rocks. This is where you can go up to Avalanche Lake. The Avalanche Lake trail is a varied up and down trail. At the end you get in a thick area, and we saw a deer walk right past us. Then you get to the lake which doesn't seem deep,i waded in it more than halfway through, but it is 50 something feet deep according to google so be careful. The trail can get tiring so I would consider it a moderately hard hike.
